dpanel CMS — Users

The users module provides the site administrator with the ability to add individual usernames and passwords for other users to edit part or all of the site. Users are defined as either admins with access to all areas of the dpanel, or as users, with access to only a defined subset of modules and, optionally, a subset of content pages through a set of admin-defined user groups to which both users and pages are then assigned, either to a single or multiple groups.

Key Benefits

  • Only grant access to the specific modules you want each user to manage.
  • Easily see by whom and when each resource was last edited, across the dpanel.
  • Place users in groups so that they only see the pages they have permission to edit.

In Use

Trent Vineyard uses user groups to provide its staff with access to defined parts of the site, without overwhelming them with 100+ pages.

All dpanel sites use the User module to provide secure access to the content management system for the site, to view a range of sites running on the dpanel have a look at our portfolio.
